Our experienced tour guides will take you on an unforgettable ride along the golden shoreline below Snæfellsjökull, on Hraunlandarif beach, between Búdir and Arnarstapi, where magnificent views are to be enjoyed. The speed depends on the attending group members. Usually, it’s a rather slow and easy tour. Therefore, you don’t need riding experience to join.

Health and Safety information

Our horseback riding tours are completely suitable for people who have never gone horseback riding before. However, we do not recommend horseback riding if you have problems with your hips, knees, or your back. Riders should be able to mount unaided from the ground without a step stool.

Also, the riders have to be able to hold the reins and follow the guides’ instructions at all times, so a reasonable level of English is required. Riding during pregnancy is very risky and we reserve the right to exclude riders from our tours in case of pregnancy or severe physical impairment.

Cancellation policy

We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event
We will charge a cancellation fee of 40% if booking is cancelled 2 days or less before the event

Please meet us here 15 minutes prior to the start time. You can expect that the total time on-site is at least 1,5 hours.

Horses are life animals with a will of their own and thus you must understand that there is always some risk involved when going horse back riding.
